How do I order City Addresses services?

City Address have worked hard to make the whole ordering process as simple as possible. You can order your services in a number of different ways. Simply click the order online button and/or link for the relevant service, telephone our customer service team on 03302230370 or simply call into you local City Address office.

Your order will be processed within 24-hours (During the working week) and we will email you once processed, at this point you must provide proof of address and proof of identity in order to activate your account and begin receiving mail.

 
Do I need to use a suite, unit or box number in my address?

City address offer a range of virtual mailing address services, whilst we do use box number, these are solely to assist us in sorting mail they do not form part of your address. (excluding the Mailbox Lite service)

When you choose a virtual mailing address with mail holding, mail forwarding or mail scanning your address will simply be our address prefixed with your name or your business name.

Example

When using the mailbox lite service a number will form part of the address. This number will be allocated by City Address and must be used in your address this can be Box 10, Unit 10, Suite 10, Studio 10 or any other format.

 
Is there a minimum term contract?

No not at all. You are free to cancel your services at anytime we do however require 1 months notice to cancel your services.

 
What is the difference between mailbox rental and Royal Mail's Po Box Rental?

Do you really offer a money back guarantee?

Can mail be forwarded internationally?

Yes of course. City Address forward mail internationally on a daily basis. Certain fixed price services such as the registered address service and the directors service address only includes the cost of forwarding mail to a single UK address, if you require international forwarding on these service a surcharge will apply. This surcharge is to cover the additional costs incurred in forwarding mail internationally.

 
When can I collect my mail?

At present mail can be collected during normal business hours. For the opening times of your preferred branch please click here. However we are in the process of introducing 24-hour access which will allow you to collect your mail 24-hours a day.

 
When is my mail forwarded?

This is completely up to you. When you signup to our services you will be asked to specify how frequently you'd like your mail forwarding this can be from daily to monthly or we can simply hold onto your mail until you request it

 
Can I send someone to collect my mail

TOP

It is possible to send someone to collect your mail. If you have your own mailbox key you can give this key to the person collecting your mail. If you don't have your own key and would like to send someone to collect your mail you will need to telephone us to let us know the name of the person collecting the mail.

If someone turns up asking for mail without a key or without us being informed we will not release any mail.

 
Can you received parcels and packages?

Yes, City Address receive parcels and packages on a daily basis, these can either be forwarded onto an address of your choice or held awaiting your collection. Parcels and packages may be subject to additional handling and storage charges depending on the size and quantity.

It should be remembered that City Address offer mail processing services and not distribution or storage services. Excessively large deliveries will be rejected. We can however receive larger items or larger deliveries provided we have a minimum of 24-hours notice.

 
How will I be billed?

City Address operates an paperless billing system as standard. All invoices will be issued via email unless a paper invoice is requested.

When you first signup to our services you will be asked to specify how frequently you'd like to be billed. This can be monthly, quarterly, every 6 months or annually. Certain services such as the registered address service are billed every 1, 2, 4 or 5 years. All services are pre-paid and will automatically renew unless cancelled.

 
What payment methods do you accept?

Your initial order can be paid using all popular payment methods including, Credit Card, Debit Card, Direct Debit, Google Checkout, Cheque, Postal Order and cash in branch (Please do not send cash through the post)

For ongoing payments in addition to the above payment methods we also accept Direct Debit payments.
 
Please Note: Unfortunately in order to continue offering first class services at competitive prices we are no longer able to accept PayPal as a payment method. Also at the end of summer 2013 Google will stop providing their Google Checkout / Google Wallet service.
